Delta Petroleum Corporation is an independent oil and gas company engaged primarily in the exploration for, and the acquisition, development, production, and sale of, natural gas and crude oil. Our core areas of operation are the Rocky Mountain and onshore Gulf Coast Regions, which together comprise the majority of our proved reserves, production and longā€‘term growth prospects. We have a significant development drilling inventory that consists of proved and unproved locations, the majority of which are located in our Rocky Mountain development projects.

We generally concentrate our exploration and development efforts in fields where we can apply our technical exploration and development expertise, and where we have accumulated significant operational control and experience. We also have an ownership interest in a drilling company, providing the benefit of priority access to drilling rigs that operate primarily in the Rocky Mountain Region.
